Earthy autumnal tones and softly shimmering silks form the basis of the current Hermès autumn/winter 2023 womenswear collection. They also provide the inspiration for colour and texture for eyeshadows in the latest Hermès Beauty line, which first launched in 2020 with lipstick.
Designed by creative director, Gregoris Pyrpylis, the coveted compacts (£90) are available in six colour variations, including Ombres Marines, and are made with 98 per cent natural ingredients.
Meanwhile, Pierre Hardy, the creator of Hermès jewellery and shoes, is the brains behind the aesthetically pleasing case. Inlaid with Bauhaus-inspired circles and squares, it is designed for keeps. Shadows are sold separately in quartets and the case can be refilled by simply replacing the powder pan.
Whether you favour a single smudge of midnight blue or choose to create more of an ombre effect with terracotta and iridescent pearl, remember, the eyes say everything this season.
