Bond's Best: Sunday Roast at Charlie's, Brown's Hotel
Autumn days are best enjoyed with family and friends over a delicious roast dinner. And, let's face it, what could be better at this time of year than the scent of slow-roasted potatoes sprinkled with sprigs of rosemary, and traditional puddings that hit the sweet spot?
The Sunday lunch set menus at Brown's, two courses for £65 and three for £75, have been created by Michelin-starred chef Adam Byatt, a champion of modern British cuisine. As a result, expect bold flavours featuring the very best British produce, curated with the renowned contemporary flair of his team.

Served in the beautiful surroundings of Charlie's with its oak-panelled walls, tropical-print wallpaper and plush, turquoise-coloured seating, the feast begins with appetisers including Moxon's smoked salmon with homemade treacle bread. When you hear the gentle rolling sound of the restaurant's grand serving trolley, you know the main act, a tender sirloin of beef, flaky Yorkshire pudding and potatoes roasted in duck fat, will soon be at your table. Other menu highlights include the Brown's sommelier-curated wine list.
And last but not least, when faced with the choice of the sticky toffee pudding or the rum baba with a dollop of Chantilly cream, you could be forgiven for taking your time over such difficult decisions.
